Referencing tool : Seoquake for Firefox

seoquake-logo.pngSeoQuake is a plugin (Firefox or even Internet Explorer) that lets you gather alot of useful informations about a website. Once installed, this plugin will be under 3 forms :a tool bar , an element added on the website page and elements in search tools such as Google.
Concretely, this tool lets you gather :
  • Google's pagerank
  • How much pages Google gathered
  • How many links are pointing toward this page
  • When was it updated by Google
  • The same for Yahoo
  • And also for MSN
  • Estimated traffic by Alexa
  • How much bookmarked links in Del.icio.us
  • How much links by Technonat
  • Keywords density
  • Domain's Whois
  • See the robots.txt
  • See the number of links pointing outside and inside the website
  • And alot more

Why use such a tool ?

I can see three reasons to use Seoquake : for your own website/blogs, for your enemies websites/blogs or just to study. In any way it is very useful.
For your own websites, it will let you study in detail how referencing is done, how much links points toward your website and your keyword density, but also see your traffic. It's not efficient to use it everyday but is useful sometime
For other websites, this tool will let you study them and let you know your objective and how to be better than those websites.
To study a research result

You understood, SeoQuake is a very useful tool that will help you study everything about your own website or even others, and even research for themes that brings alot of traffic.
